The Pelican Shuttle
The Pelican Shuttle is up and running! After successfully completing the stability test with the Naval Architect and United States Coast Guard, we've received our Stability Letter and are clear to operate.
However, due to the severe beach erosions and other damaging impacts of Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton, Delnor-Wiggins State Park and Barefoot Beach Preserve continue to be closed until further notice. Our Marina Team is checking the status regularly at each location.
To get our Members back on-the-water, we are bringing back our Cruise to Nowhere. Hop aboard the Pelican Shuttle and let Captain Justin take you for an adventure cruising through Wiggins Pass and the surrounding areas for this 1-hour cruise. While aboard, be on the look out for dolphins, manatees, and the various other creatures that call this beautiful ecosystem home.
Our Marina Team is currently working closely with the contractors to restore power to PIYC's fixed docks. Once the restoration is complete and we are no longer needed for lift assistance, we will be adding more Cruise to Nowhere operations to expand our services.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate these challenges, and we look forward to welcoming you aboard for these scenic cruises while Delnor-Wiggins, Barefoot Beach, and PIYC continue to work on recovery efforts.
