“What makes PIYC so special is the Staff and Members. Everyone is so warm and welcoming. When we first joined the Club 22 years ago, the Club Ambassadors personally took us around and introduced us to many of the Members. It has to be the friendliest Club I have ever been a Member of. You talk to people there whether you know them or not. The Staff go out of their way to joke around with you, give you what you want and just make you feel special by memorizing what you drink, eat, etc. The Club is more like extended family than a Club. It just has such a special atmosphere. We have made so many wonderful friends and hope to enjoy it for many more years. The Chef goes out of his way to have something on the menu for everyone. “When we joined in 2017, we got involved immediately with social activities, playing pickleball and meeting so many wonderful, friendly Members at the Club. We have also been on overnight cruises which were fantastic. Our second year, we became Ambassadors welcoming and orienting new Members to all the amenities that PIYC offers and encouraging them to get involved. I really believe that getting involved and meeting other Members, provides full enjoyment of all that Pelican Isle Yacht Club offers.
