Captain Jake Rowe, Director of Marine Services at Pelican Isle Yacht Club, grew up on his family's commercial fishing boats in Portsmouth, NH. He was a third generation commercial fisherman and decided to get his Captains license after attending the University of New Hampshire. Captain Rowe has worked on many kinds of vessels ranging from commercial fishing boats, whale watch vessels, tour boats and small cruise ships. His travels have taken him from Maine to Florida, to the Mississippi River, Bahamas, Panama, the Panama Canal, Costa Rica, Honduras and Cozumel. Captain Rowe holds a Master, Near Coastal 100 Gross Ton License and is a Certified Marina Manager. Currently, he resides in Naples with his wife Tammy and their two boys, Nicholas and Camden.
