Kathie has more than 40 years of experience in club operations/recreational development along with extensive experience in membership and marketing management. She started at PIYC in Fall 2013 and came to us from Colonial Country Club in Fort Myers where she was responsible for Membership and Lifestyle Activities for seven years. Kathie worked with Stock Development as a Vice President of Lifestyle Development, HDG/Hardy Development Group as their Corporate Director of Membership Services & Lifestyle, Lexington Country Club, Del Tura Country Club, and Heron’s Glen Country Club. Kathie especially loved her time working with Disney and at a lakeside resort in the Poconos. She attained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Community Recreation & Leisure Administration from York College of Pennsylvania. She is a past Board Member of the Membership Directors Association of Southwest Florida. She attained her CMP (Certified Membership Professional) status in September 2016 with the Professional Club Marketing Association. She founded the SWFL Lifestyle & Activity Directors Networking Group shortly after she moved to the Southwest Florida area. Kathie’s interests include gardening, hiking, water sports, traveling, college football, and photography. Kathie is originally from Williamsport, PA, and resides in Bonita Springs with her Austrian husband, Thomas, and their dog, Donnie. They are blessed with two daughters, a son-in-law, and one grandchild. The Pedit family loves traveling to Innsbruck to visit with his family, fishing, and boating in the Wiggins Pass area!
